Refund Policy

Gifted Hands Notary & Signing Services LLC

Effective Date: February 22, 2026

 

At Gifted Hands Notary & Signing Services LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we are committed to providing professional, accurate, and timely services. Due to the nature of notarial and administrative services, the following refund policy applies:

 

1. No Refund After Service Completion

All fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered, including but not limited to:

• Notarial acts completed

• Loan signing appointments completed

• Apostille facilitation submissions processed

• Fingerprinting services completed

• Travel/mobile services once the notary has arrived at the agreed location

Once a notarial act is performed, it cannot be reversed, and payment for that service is final.

 

2. Appointment Cancellations

Standard Appointments​

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to appointment will be entitled to a refund minus 10% processing fee. Appointment may b rescheduled at this time without penalty.

• Cancellations made at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled appointment may be rescheduled without penalty. For Cancellations up to 2 hours prior: 50% cancellation fee.

• Cancellations made less than 2 hours prior will not be entitled to a refund.

• Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Mobile & After-Hours Appointments

• Travel fees are non-refundable once the notary is en route.

• If the notary arrives and service cannot be completed due to client error (e.g., no valid ID, incomplete documents, signer not present), the full travel fee and applicable service fee will still apply.

 

3. Client Errors or Incomplete Documents

No refunds will be issued for:

• Failure to present valid, unexpired government-issued identification

• Incorrect or incomplete documents

• Blank spaces in documents

• Wrong notarization requested by client

• Rejection by third parties due to document preparation errors

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure documents are complete and correct prior to the appointment.

 

4. Apostille & Government Processing Fees

Government filing fees and processing fees paid to third-party agencies are non-refundable, even if:

• Documents are rejected

• Processing is delayed

• The client decides to cancel after submission

Our service fee for apostille facilitation becomes non-refundable once documents have been submitted to the appropriate agency.

5. Loan Signing Services

If a loan signing appointment is canceled after documents have been printed and prepared, a print and preparation fee may apply.

If signing is completed but the transaction does not fund, our service fee remains non-refundable.

6. Fingerprinting Services

Fingerprinting fees are non-refundable once prints have been captured.

We do not guarantee acceptance by any agency and are not responsible for rejections due to agency standards or background check results.

7. Company Error

In the rare event that an error is made by Gifted Hands Notary & Signing Services LLC during the notarization process, we will correct the error at no additional charge. Refunds will only be considered if:

• The error is directly caused by our notarial act, and

• The client provides documented proof within 7 days of service.

Refunds, if approved, shall not exceed the amount paid for the original service.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By using our services, you agree not to initiate a chargeback for services properly rendered. Fraudulent disputes will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Final Determination

All refund determinations are made at the sole discretion of Gifted Hands Notary & Signing Services LLC in accordance with this policy and applicable state laws.
